The White House has unveiled a new initiative that it says will deliver the world's lowest prescription drug prices to American patients, framing the policy as a historic reset for medication affordability.
In a post on X, the official @WhiteHouse account shared an image promoting the plan. The graphic cites "Most-Favored-Nation pricing" and states the policy guarantees "huge savings for Americans."
America First on Drug Prices
The accompanying page, hosted at trumprx.gov, declares that being healthy "should be easy—and affordable" and tells Americans to "take control of your wellbeing with the world's best prices on the medications you need."
The page credits Most-Favored-Nation pricing with delivering "the most impactful prescription price reset in the history of our country." It says the policy "puts more money in Americans' pockets and finally brings care back within reach."
Hundreds of Generics Included
The initiative covers "hundreds of generics," according to the White House. The site invites Americans to compare prices on commonly prescribed medications and see how much they can save under the new pricing structure.
The post did not include an additional caption, relying on the image itself to convey the announcement of lower prescription costs for American patients.
