First Lady Melania Trump advanced a landmark program to improve women's health through a new executive order that strengthens research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care for girls and women throughout every stage of life.

"Previous generations fought for women's rights. Our generation will fight to discover the cures that will ensure a woman can live her life in health and to the fullest," the First Lady said from the White House.

A Transformative Moment for Women's Health

Speaking to Cabinet members, doctors, directors, and administrators, Mrs. Trump declared, "This is a transformative moment for women in America. Beginning today, we will change the reality of women's health."

She highlighted the extraordinary scientific capabilities now available: "super intelligence, advanced biotechnology, and groundbreaking therapies" — and noted that social norms are changing, with formerly taboo topics becoming "open, well-informed, and necessary."

Executive Order on Advancing Women's Health

The Executive Order on Advancing Women's Health to Improve Outcomes in All Phases of Life also recognizes the importance of collaboration with the private sector in advancing new technologies and solutions for women's health.

Through these efforts, the Trump Administration will work to ensure American women have access to the highest-quality, scientifically supported medical information and care while advancing new treatments, therapies, and cures.
