President Trump will travel to Ohio today amid what the White House is calling the great American investment boom, with officials pointing to billions of dollars in new manufacturing projects that are bringing jobs back to the state.

Ohio Showed Up Big for President Trump

Taylor Rogers, a White House spokesperson, said Ohio is a state that showed up big for President Trump in 2024 because workers there suffered under Democrat America Last policies. She said those policies shipped jobs overseas, shut down manufacturing plants, and put American workers last.

"President Trump has totally reversed those disastrous policies," Rogers said in a video posted by the White House's Rapid Response account. "He has reshored our manufacturing industry. He has brought jobs back to the country to the state of Ohio."

Historic Investments in Ohio

Rogers cited tangible examples of the president bringing historic investments to the state. Bayer announced a $2.2 billion investment in Ohio that will create 400 permanent jobs. Stellantis announced earlier this year a $400 million investment that will create 900 jobs.

"This is what Ohioans want to see," Rogers said. "They want candidates, they want politicians who put American workers first. That is exactly what President Trump has done for the state of Ohio."

Chair of Council of Economic Advisers: The Great American Investment Boom

Christopher Phelan, chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, echoed the message, posting simply: "The great American investment boom."

Rogers warned that the progress could be at risk if Democrats return to power, saying, "We cannot risk allowing the Democrats to stop the president from delivering on this progress and reestablishing their America last agenda."
