Jamie Raskin just read the Democrats' 2027 agenda out loud during a committee exchange, and it has nothing to do with healthcare, inflation, or any issue affecting everyday Americans. The Maryland Democrat declared his party "will not hesitate to go after the private corporations that are collaborating in all of the lawlessness with Donald Trump, and we've done it before, and we will absolutely do it again." That is not oversight. That is a mafia-style protection racket operating under the color of congressional authority.

Raskin specifically named Paul Weiss, the law firm that had the audacity to negotiate with the sitting President of the United States. His message to corporate America is now on the record: cooperate with the Trump White House and face subpoenas, investigations, and public spectacle. The crime is loyalty to the elected government. The punishment is destruction by Democrat committee staffers who have nothing to run on except revenge.

Garcia's Office Names the First Four Targets

Robert Garcia, Representative from CA-42, has stopped pretending this is about accountability. His office published the names: Mullin at DHS, Blanche at AG, Hegseth at War, and Patel at FBI. Pete Hegseth is the Secretary of Defense. Kash Patel is the Director of the FBI. These are not obscure bureaucrats—they are the people staffing President Trump's America First agenda. Garcia posted two words that read like a mob enforcer's warning: "LAWYER UP."

Sheldon Whitehouse, Senator from Rhode Island, takes the Senate gavel at the same time, handing the Democrat investigation machine another lever of power. The message is explicit: if you serve this administration, if you do business with this administration, if you defend this administration, you are on the list.

"This is not oversight; it is a shakedown dressed up as congressional authority, aimed directly at the people staffing the Trump administration and the businesses that work with it."

Pressure Mounts Inside the West Wing

While Democrats hunt Trump allies from the outside, Republican staffers are demanding accountability on the inside. Caroline Sunshine demanded Susie Wiles resign before she is asked. Bovino pinned the deportation shortfall on the chief of staff's desk. A movement that won the White House cannot afford a staff that will not deliver the America First mandate—and the internal fight matters because the enemies of this administration are not waiting for the midterms to sharpen their knives.

Raskin's threat is not hypothetical. He bragged that Democrats have done this before, naming law firms and private companies that aligned with the Trump agenda. Paul Weiss is the warning shot. Every boardroom, every donor, every contractor listening to that quote must now ask whether their lawyers are calculating risk against a Democrat hit list. That calculation is exactly what the left wants—fear as a cost of doing business with the elected president.

The Only Product Democrats Have Left

They cannot run on results. They cannot run on the economy, the border, or energy policy. They cannot run on the failed Biden years they refuse to answer for. So they threaten. They subpoena. They name names. They publish target lists and tell private citizens to "lawyer up." This is lawfare by another name, and it begins before the midterms even arrive.

The Democrat plan for 2027 is now public: use subpoena power to punish anyone who helps the Trump administration deliver for the American people. Raskin said it. Garcia published it. Whitehouse will enforce it. The only question for corporate America is whether they will capitulate to the shakedown or stand with the elected government the voters chose.

This is exactly what we warned would happen. Weaponizing government against political opponents is straight out of the authoritarian playbook, and every freedom-loving American should be paying attention.

Spot on. They're not even hiding it anymore. This is a shakedown plain and simple.

I've been saying this since 2020. People need to wake up before it's too late.

This is huge! Finally someone is calling it what it is instead of pretending it's normal politics.

Can someone explain how targeting law firms that represented certain clients isn't a direct attack on attorney-client privilege? That seems like a much bigger deal than the media is letting on.

It absolutely is. When you go after the lawyers, you're trying to scare anyone else from taking those cases. Classic intimidation tactic.

My small business had to retain a lawyer last year just to deal with some baseless regulatory nonsense, and it cost me five figures. Imagine being one of these firms singled out for simply doing your job. This should terrify every business owner in America.
