Political strategist Roger Stone is demanding answers about when former Obama-Biden administration officials will face criminal prosecution, expressing frustration over the pace of accountability under the new Trump administration.
Speaking at Turning Point USA's 2025 AmericaFest conference, Stone rattled off a list of names that have become synonymous with what many conservatives view as the corrupt deep state apparatus that targeted President Donald Trump.
"Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Rice, Biden, Weissmann, Rosenstein... When are these people being charged?"
Stone's pointed question came in response to whether he believes FBI Director Kash Patel is "knocking down enough doors" in his effort to reform the bureau and pursue justice against those who weaponized federal agencies against political opponents.

The names Stone mentioned represent key figures in what Trump supporters have long called the "Russia hoax" and subsequent efforts to undermine the 45th president's first administration. John Brennan served as CIA Director, James Clapper as Director of National Intelligence, James Comey as FBI Director, and Susan Rice as National Security Advisor under Barack Obama.
Former President Joe Biden, who left office in January 2025 after his decisive defeat to President Trump, has faced mounting questions about his involvement in the surveillance of the Trump campaign during the 2016 transition period.
Andrew Weissmann served as a top prosecutor on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team, while Rod Rosenstein, as Deputy Attorney General, appointed Mueller in the first place.
Conservatives Demand Swift Action
Stone's comments reflect growing impatience among the conservative base, who delivered President Trump a commanding victory in 2024 with the expectation that justice would finally be served against those who allegedly corrupted America's intelligence and law enforcement institutions.
FBI Director Kash Patel, a longtime Trump ally who exposed deep state corruption during his time on the House Intelligence Committee, has pledged to clean house at the troubled bureau. However, Stone's remarks suggest that some in Trump's orbit believe the process isn't moving quickly enough.
