Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec is urging Republicans to maintain their commitment to America First policies as the party prepares for the 2026 midterm elections, warning against establishment pressure to abandon the nationalist principles that helped secure President Trump's historic return to office.

Speaking with BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales, Posobiec emphasized that the conservative movement must not waver in its dedication to prioritizing American interests above all else.

"It's America first. It's literally America first. Any policy that America should have going forward should be a policy that says what is the best way forward in the best interest of the American people, right here, right now,"

Posobiec told Gonzales during the interview.

The call comes as debates intensify over fundamental questions facing the conservative movement, including America's role on the global stage and the compatibility of certain ideologies with Western values. With President Trump now back in the White House after his decisive 2024 victory, Republicans across the country are positioning themselves for crucial midterm races that could determine the future direction of the party.

Republicans Must Step Up

Posobiec stressed that Republican candidates and elected officials need to "step up across the board" in defending America First principles, rather than retreating to establishment talking points that failed during the Biden years.

The message resonates with grassroots conservatives who helped deliver Trump's comeback victory and expect their representatives to maintain the nationalist agenda that has proven successful at the ballot box. As primary season approaches for 2026 contests, the America First litmus test is expected to play a decisive role in Republican nominations nationwide.

Conservative activists argue that any deviation from putting American workers, families, and national interests first would represent a betrayal of the mandate voters delivered in 2024, when they rejected the globalist policies of the previous administration in favor of Trump's proven America First approach.
