Just when you thought the Democrats couldn't get any more pathetic, they proved us wrong. On the fifth anniversary of January 6th, the party that spent four years screaming about "threats to democracy" while weaponizing the justice system decided to hold what can only be described as a high school drama club performance on the Capitol steps.
Complete with candles, crocodile tears, and enough manufactured outrage to power a small city, Democrats gathered to once again relitigate an event from five years ago while ignoring the actual crises facing Americans today. Former Vice President Kamala Harris and Senator Adam Schiff led the theatrical parade, tweeting dramatic proclamations about how January 6th was "among the worst days in U.S. history."
Really? Worse than Pearl Harbor? 9/11? The Civil War? Give us a break.
But leave it to Vice President JD Vance to cut through the nonsense with surgical precision. His response on social media was so perfectly crafted that it left Democrats scrambling for their smelling salts.
Americans Are Fed Up With the Theater
The American people see right through this charade, and social media erupted with brutal honesty. One user perfectly captured the nation's mood: "This is the most cringiest thing I've seen in a long time. Democrats January 6th happened 6 years ago, nobody gives a shit. It was 1 day wanna hold a visual, How about holding a visual for the millions of dollars lost during the summer love and the all the officers that were" hurt during the 2020 riots.
Another patriot pointed out the obvious hypocrisy: "I wonder when Democrats are going to hold a candlelit vigil for the cities that burned and lives lost during the 2020 BLM riots."
"Congrats democrats and RINOS, thanks for opening Pandora's box, now Americans will read and see what really went down. It's time to hold people accountable," wrote another fed-up American.
While Democrats waste time with their vintage 2021 grievance tour, President Trump is busy delivering on his promises to secure the border, drain the swamp, and make America great again. The contrast couldn't be clearer: one party focused on the past, the other building the future.
How long will Democrats keep beating this dead horse while real Americans struggle with inflation, crime, and an invasion at our southern border?
