The New York Times just delivered one of the most spectacular self-owns in recent memory while trying to attack President Trump's crackdown on Democrat-run state fraud schemes.

The Trump administration made waves Tuesday when the Department of Health and Human Services cut off five Democrat-controlled states from over $10 billion in federal childcare and family assistance funds, citing "serious concerns about widespread fraud and misuse of taxpayer dollars in state-administered programs."

Naturally, the failing Times rushed to defend their Democrat allies. But reporter Minho Kim stepped on a massive rake in his opening paragraph, writing that Trump made these fraud allegations "without citing evidence."

Patriots on social media immediately pounced on the irony. Here's the New York Times - the same outlet that spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax and countless other debunked narratives - suddenly demanding "evidence" when Trump goes after Democrat corruption.

The hypocrisy doesn't end there. Social media users are highlighting how the Times has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for America's enemies. As one user noted: "The New York Times truly lives up to its reputation as the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party" after the paper criticized Trump's strong stance on Venezuela while China condemned the same action.

"NYT says Trump's attack on Venezuela is illegal," posted another user, showing how the Times consistently parrots foreign adversaries' talking points.

This is the same newspaper that has relentlessly attacked Trump's every move, including his historic pardons for January 6th political prisoners. The Times whined that "for some pardoned rioters, it was not enough" - because apparently they expected Trump supporters to be grateful for years of political persecution.

The real story here isn't just about $10 billion in potentially fraudulent spending by Democrat states. It's about how the mainstream media immediately jumps to defend corruption when it benefits their political allies, while demanding impossible standards of "evidence" they never apply to their own hit pieces.

President Trump promised to drain the swamp and end the waste of taxpayer dollars. When he delivers on that promise, the Times cries "no evidence" - as if decades of Democrat mismanagement aren't evidence enough.

How many more times will the failing New York Times embarrass themselves defending the indefensible?

The NYT just can't help themselves! They demand evidence from Trump but publish stories 'without citing evidence' themselves - the hypocrisy is staggering. Keep exposing their double standards!

Exactly! They've been doing this for years - different rules for them vs conservatives.

I've noticed this pattern where mainstream media outlets will criticize Trump for not providing evidence while simultaneously running stories based on anonymous sources or unverified claims. It's like they don't even realize they're contradicting themselves in real time.

The lack of self-awareness is truly remarkable. Do they think we don't notice?

Anonymous sources = evidence when it fits their narrative, apparently!
