BUSTED: North Carolina ILLEGALLY Issues Over Half of Foreign Driver CDLs as Trump Administration CRACKS DOWN

Just weeks into President Trump's second term, his administration is already uncovering massive failures by Democrat-run states to follow federal law – and North Carolina just got caught red-handed issuing illegal commercial driver's licenses to foreign drivers.

A bombshell Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) audit reveals that a staggering 54% of North Carolina's nondomiciled commercial driver's licenses were issued illegally, violating federal safety regulations. That's more than one out of every two CDLs handed out to drivers who don't live in the state.

The shocking findings put North Carolina on track to lose $50 million in federal transportation funding – and it's just the beginning of Trump Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy's crackdown on states that flout federal law.

Trump Team Taking Action While Democrats Stay Silent

While first-term Democratic Governor Josh Stein and state Division of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Paul Tine have remained conspicuously silent about this massive failure, the Trump administration is moving fast to hold lawbreaking states accountable.

Social media erupted with reactions to the audit findings. @TruckDriverNews reported: "Federal officials say more than half of North Carolina's non-domiciled CDLs were issued illegally, according to a new FMCSA audit. The U.S. Department of Transportation found that 54% of the foreign driver licenses reviewed did not meet federal rules."

But North Carolina isn't alone. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is taking even more aggressive action against California, with @_StephanieMyers reporting that "Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announces the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is withholding approximately $160 million from California for failing to cancel over 17,000 illegally issued Commercial Driver's Licenses."

Pattern of Democrat Lawlessness Exposed

This isn't just bureaucratic incompetence – it's a pattern of Democrat-controlled states deliberately ignoring federal safety laws. The Small Business in Transportation Coalition (@TheSBTC) is calling on Secretary Duffy to "Perform his DUTY by De-certifying @CA_DMV and stop @CAgovernor from issuing any and all CDLs now that @FMCSA has issued a final determination of non-compliance."

These illegal CDL schemes put every American driver at risk by allowing unqualified foreign drivers to operate massive commercial vehicles on our highways. It's exactly the kind of reckless disregard for public safety that Americans voted to end in November.

How many more states will get caught in Trump's safety crackdown? And why are Democrats so determined to break federal law when it comes to foreign drivers?

The rule of law matters! You can't just pick and choose which federal laws to follow based on your political feelings.

My brother-in-law has been trying to get his CDL for months because of all the paperwork requirements. Meanwhile these folks are getting fast-tracked illegally?

I'm embarrassed to live in North Carolina right now. How did our state officials think they could get away with this?

Finally! The Trump administration is doing what needs to be done. These sanctuary state policies have gone way too far.

Exactly right Mike. It's about time someone enforced our immigration laws properly.

As a commercial driver for 30 years, this makes my blood boil. I had to jump through hoops to get my CDL and these people are just getting them handed out illegally? Not fair to those of us who did it the right way.

Same here Joe. Had to study for months and pay all the fees. This is a slap in the face to legitimate drivers.

States that refuse to follow federal law should lose federal funding, period. Hit them where it hurts - their wallets.

This raises serious questions about public safety. CDL drivers operate massive vehicles that can cause devastating accidents if not properly trained and vetted. What other states are doing this?

Great point. I'd bet money California and New York are doing the same thing but haven't been caught yet.
