In a stunning display of leftist hypocrisy, Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver of New Jersey's 10th district completely lost her composure during a recent congressional hearing—all while facing criminal charges for allegedly assaulting Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
The embattled congresswoman, who was caught on video attempting to storm a federal ICE facility and allegedly attacking federal agents, somehow remains seated in Congress despite the serious felony charges hanging over her head. But instead of showing any remorse or stepping down, McIver chose to double down with an unhinged rant that left even her Democrat colleagues cringing.
Where's the Accountability?
Patriots have to ask themselves: if this were a Republican congressman charged with assaulting federal agents, would the mainstream media let them serve another day in office? We all know the answer. The radical left's two-tiered justice system is on full display once again.
McIver's violent outburst against ICE agents—the very men and women working tirelessly to protect our borders and enforce immigration law—represents everything wrong with today's Democrat Party. These are the same people who claim to "back the blue" while literally attacking federal law enforcement officers.
"The fact that she's still allowed to grandstand from her position of power shows just how broken Washington has become," one GOP source told reporters.
Under President Trump's renewed leadership, ICE agents are finally getting the support they deserve after four years of being demonized by the Biden regime. But Democrats like McIver continue their war on immigration enforcement, even resorting to physical violence when they don't get their way.
Double Standard Exposed
While January 6th protesters were hunted down and imprisoned for far less, McIver walks free and continues collecting taxpayer paychecks. This is the same Congress that impeached President Trump twice based on nothing but political theater, yet they won't even censure one of their own who's literally on video assaulting federal agents.
The American people deserve better than violent extremists representing them in Congress. When will Democrats finally hold their own accountable, or will they continue protecting their radical members no matter how far they fall?
