Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is firing back at a radical federal judge who temporarily blocked the Pentagon from punishing Democratic Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona for what military officials are calling seditious conduct against the Trump administration.
U.S. District Judge Richard Leon - an establishment swamp creature - ruled Thursday that Kelly's so-called "First Amendment rights" were violated when Pentagon officials moved to discipline the Democrat senator over a inflammatory video encouraging U.S. military members to refuse what he called "unlawful orders" from President Trump.
But Hegseth isn't backing down from this Deep State judicial interference.
"This will be immediately appealed. Sedition is sedition," Captain [Pentagon spokesperson] declared, signaling the Trump administration's determination to hold accountable anyone - including sitting senators - who attempt to undermine military discipline and chain of command.
Judge Leon outrageously claimed Kelly's anti-military video somehow "threatened the constitutional liberties of millions of military retirees." What a joke! The only threat here is a sitting U.S. Senator actively encouraging our brave servicemen and women to disobey their Commander-in-Chief.
Democrat's Dangerous Game
Kelly's video represents exactly the kind of partisan poison that has infected our military under previous Democrat leadership. Here's a sitting senator - who should know better - telling troops they can pick and choose which orders to follow based on his personal political hatred of Trump.
This is precisely why Americans voted overwhelmingly to put President Trump back in the White House and clean house at the Pentagon. Secretary Hegseth was brought in to end the woke military nonsense and restore proper order and discipline.
The fact that an activist federal judge is now protecting Kelly's seditious behavior shows just how deep the swamp really runs. But this administration won't be intimidated by black-robed tyrants who think they can override military justice.
