EXPOSED: Democrat Lawmaker Spreads LIES About SAVE Act, Claims Voter ID Would Block Married Women

Another day, another Democrat spreading outright lies about basic election security measures. Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-MI) is now claiming the SAVE America Act would somehow prevent married women from voting – a ridiculous assertion that's been thoroughly debunked by Republicans who actually understand the legislation.

The SAVE Act, which requires proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, has become the latest target for Democrats desperate to keep our elections vulnerable to fraud. Scholten argues that birth certificate requirements would create "obstacles" for married women, apparently assuming American women are too incompetent to provide basic documentation of their citizenship.

This is the same tired playbook Democrats have used for decades – crying "voter suppression" whenever common-sense Americans demand basic election integrity. What's next? Will they claim asking for ID at the bank is discriminatory against people with names?

"The SAVE Act simply requires what should be obvious – that only American citizens vote in American elections," one Republican aide told reporters. "Democrats' hysteria over basic verification reveals their real agenda."

Let's be crystal clear about what's really happening here. The SAVE Act would require the same documentation millions of Americans provide daily for countless activities – getting a driver's license, opening a bank account, or boarding a plane. But somehow, when it comes to the sacred right to vote, Democrats think verification is too burdensome?

Republicans rightly point out that Scholten's claims don't hold water. Married women have been navigating document requirements successfully for generations. Banks, employers, and government agencies somehow manage to verify identity without disenfranchising half the population.

This manufactured controversy exposes the Democrats' real fear: that secure elections mean fewer opportunities for the shenanigans that helped them cling to power for so long. They know that when only eligible citizens vote, America chooses conservative leadership.

Patriots across the country see through this transparent attempt to maintain election vulnerabilities. While Trump's administration works to restore integrity to our democratic processes, Democrats like Scholten peddle fear and misinformation to protect their corrupt system.

How long will Americans tolerate politicians who think basic election security is somehow un-American?

Can someone explain how requiring ID would specifically impact married women differently than anyone else? This makes no logical sense to me.

It doesn't make sense because it's a made-up talking point to scare people.

We show ID to buy alcohol, rent a car, get on a plane, but somehow it's too much to ask for voting? The most important civic duty we have?

This is exactly why we need the SAVE Act! Democrats will say anything to prevent election integrity measures. My married daughter has no problem showing her ID when she votes - it takes 2 seconds.

They act like married women are helpless. It's actually insulting to women.

Exactly! My wife and I both show ID every time. It's common sense.

I've been a poll worker for 15 years and I've never seen a single married woman have issues with voter ID requirements. This is pure fearmongering.

This is insulting to women everywhere. We're perfectly capable of obtaining and presenting identification just like everyone else!

The SAVE Act is about protecting our elections, period. Democrats oppose it because they benefit from the current broken system.

What exactly is this lawmaker afraid of? If elections are already secure like they claim, then voter ID shouldn't be a problem, right?
