Columbia University has once again shown its true colors by caving to the radical left mob after promoting a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recruitment event that sent woke students and faculty into an absolute meltdown.
The Ivy League institution initially advertised the CBP job fair, offering students legitimate career opportunities in federal law enforcement during a time when President Trump's administration is ramping up border security and deportation operations. But apparently, helping American students find good-paying jobs protecting our nation's sovereignty was too much for the snowflakes to handle.
What followed was a predictable leftist temper tantrum. The same crowd that claims to champion "diversity" and "inclusion" showed their true authoritarian colors by demanding the university silence any support for border enforcement. These are the same radicals who probably cheered when Biden opened our borders to millions of illegal immigrants, drugs, and human traffickers.
Academic Freedom Only Goes One Way
This capitulation exposes the complete hypocrisy of America's supposedly "elite" educational institutions. While Columbia will bend over backwards to host events for every far-left cause imaginable – from anti-Israel protests to climate change hysteria – they won't even allow students to learn about career opportunities protecting America's borders.
The timing couldn't be more telling. As President Trump's second administration works tirelessly to secure our border and restore law and order, these ivory tower elitists are actively working to undermine those efforts. They're literally trying to prevent their own students from contributing to national security.
"This is what happens when universities become indoctrination centers instead of places of learning," one frustrated parent told reporters. "They're denying students real career opportunities because it doesn't fit their radical agenda."
Meanwhile, CBP agents are risking their lives every day to protect Americans from the chaos that four years of Biden's open border policies created. These brave men and women deserve respect, not the hatred spewed by pampered college radicals who've never faced real danger in their lives.
Columbia's cowardly retreat sends a clear message: elite universities care more about appeasing the radical mob than preparing students for meaningful careers serving their country. How many other institutions will follow suit and abandon their students to satisfy the woke brigade?
