It's time for patriots to stop pretending we owe blind loyalty to ungrateful American athletes who use the Olympics as their personal platform to trash the greatest nation on Earth.
While millions of hardworking Americans tune in hoping to cheer for Team USA, too many of our so-called representatives are busy virtue-signaling about how supposedly terrible America is. These pampered athletes wrap themselves in Old Glory for photo ops, then turn around and spit on everything that flag represents.
Think about it, folks - why should we celebrate athletes who openly despise the country that gave them the freedom and opportunity to compete at the highest level? Why should patriotic Americans rally behind people who see the Olympic stage as their chance to lecture us about America's "sins" instead of showing pride in wearing the red, white, and blue?
The Left's Olympic Hypocrisy
The mainstream media and woke sports establishment want you to feel guilty for not supporting anti-American athletes. They'll call you "unpatriotic" for not cheering loud enough when someone who hates America wins a medal. That's backwards thinking that only makes sense in clown world.
Real patriotism means standing up for American values - not blindly supporting every person who happens to hold an American passport. When athletes use their platform to push radical leftist talking points or kneel during our national anthem, they're making a choice. And choices have consequences.
"Athletes who represent America should actually represent what America stands for - freedom, opportunity, and respect for the sacrifice of those who came before us," said one veteran activist. "If they can't do that basic job, why should we root for them?"
President Trump understood this during his first term when he called out unpatriotic athletes. Now in his second term, maybe it's time for Team USA leadership to remember that representing America is a privilege, not a right to bash America on the world stage.
Patriots have every right to root for athletes who actually love this country and save their cheers for competitors who understand what an honor it is to wear USA on their chest. After all, why should we celebrate people who are embarrassed by us?
