BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is cutting through the political theater and delivering hard truths that establishment politicians don't want you to hear. While Texas lawmakers continue their virtue signaling about banning Sharia law, Gonzales points out what should be obvious to anyone paying attention: Islamic law is already illegal in America.
"Sharia is already against the law. The way that they govern is already against the law. Islamic law is not the U.S. Constitution. Islamic law is not Texas law. That's very obvious," Gonzales explained to her audience. "You're not allowed to amputate someone's hand for stealing. Can't stone a woman to death."
But here's where Gonzales gets really interesting — and where most politicians are too cowardly to go. Instead of wasting time on redundant Sharia bans, she's calling for action against something that's actually happening right under our noses: the halal meat certification industry.
While Americans aren't paying attention, Islamic religious requirements are quietly being imposed on our food supply through halal certification. This isn't some far-off theoretical threat — it's happening in grocery stores and restaurants across America right now.
"You're not allowed to amputate someone's hand for stealing. Can't stone a woman to death because of adultery. These things are already illegal."
This is exactly the kind of straight talk we need more of from conservative voices. While the political class engages in meaningless gestures, real patriots like Gonzales are identifying where Islamic influence is actually creeping into American society.
The Trump administration's America First agenda should include protecting our food supply from foreign religious impositions. Why should American consumers be forced to subsidize Islamic religious practices every time they buy meat?
It's time for conservatives to stop playing defense and start asking the hard questions: If we're serious about American sovereignty, shouldn't that include our dinner plates?
