In a breathtaking display of projection that would make a movie theater jealous, Texas State Representative James Talarico (D) appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Thursday to claim the Trump administration is working with "powerful corporate media executives" in a "coordinated effort" to "control what we watch, what we say, what we read."
Let that sink in for a moment, patriots. A Democrat politician is going on MSNBC - the same network that spent four years pushing the Russia hoax - to claim that Trump is the one controlling the media narrative.
This is the same party that worked hand-in-glove with Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, suppress COVID lab leak theories, and boot President Trump off social media platforms. The same party whose allies in Silicon Valley have been shadow-banning conservatives and throttling right-wing content for years.
"The Trump administration is working with powerful corporate media executives in a coordinated effort to control what we watch, what we say, what we read," Talarico claimed without providing a shred of evidence.
Meanwhile, back in reality, it's been the radical left that has weaponized Big Tech, the deep state bureaucracy, and their media allies to silence dissenting voices. From Twitter's pre-Musk censorship regime to the FBI's pressure campaigns against social media companies, the real "coordinated effort" has been coming from Democrats and their establishment cronies.
What Talarico is really upset about is that Americans are finally getting access to alternative viewpoints and real journalism - not the state-sponsored propaganda his party has grown accustomed to pushing through their media allies.
The Trump Effect
President Trump's return to office has clearly rattled the establishment. They're watching their stranglehold on the information ecosystem crumble as patriots seek out independent media sources and reject the legacy media's tired narratives.
When Democrats like Talarico start accusing their opponents of the very tactics they've been using for years, you know they're desperate. The American people see right through this projection, and that's what terrifies them most.
The question isn't whether Trump is controlling the media - it's whether the American people will continue to reject the left's actual attempts at thought control.
