The radical left's war on common sense has reached a new low. Florida Representative Randy Fine (R) is facing a coordinated attack from the usual suspects after making a simple statement on X Sunday evening: "If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one."
Within hours, the woke outrage machine was in full swing. California's failing Governor Gavin Newsom, socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) all piled on, demanding Fine's political head on a platter.
But here's what they don't want you to know: Fine's comment came in response to ongoing debates about Islamic extremists' well-documented hostility toward dogs, which are considered "unclean" in strict interpretations of Islamic law. In many Muslim-majority countries, dogs are routinely poisoned, beaten, and killed - a fact the mainstream media conveniently ignores.
"The same people who lecture us about 'tolerance' are now telling Americans they can't love their four-legged family members," one Florida voter told reporters.
This manufactured controversy perfectly illustrates how the left operates. They create false choices, then attack anyone who refuses to bow to their radical agenda. When Islamic extremists in Europe have demanded dogs be banned from public spaces, where was the outrage from Newsom and AOC?
Representative Fine, a stalwart conservative who has consistently fought against woke indoctrination in Florida schools, refuses to apologize for standing with America's pet-owning families over radical ideologues.
The timing is no coincidence. As President Trump's second-term agenda gains momentum, desperate Democrats are manufacturing outrage wherever they can find it. They'd rather talk about manufactured Twitter controversies than explain why they supported policies that let in unvetted migrants who hate American values - including our love for man's best friend.
Patriots across the country are asking: When did loving dogs become controversial? And why are the same people who claim to champion "diversity" demanding we choose foreign religious extremism over American pet culture?
