Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts is now calling for Congress to authorize military strikes against Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs, conveniently discovering his inner hawk just three weeks into President Trump's second term.

Speaking on CNN's "AC360" Thursday night, Auchincloss claimed this is an "ideal" time to target Iran's military capabilities, citing Israeli strikes that have allegedly left Iran vulnerable above 10,000 feet with "no domain awareness and no ability" to control their airspace.

Where exactly was this urgency during the four years of the Biden regime, when Iran was openly enriching uranium to near-weapons-grade levels and funding terrorist proxies across the Middle East? The timing here is absolutely suspicious, folks.

Democrat War Hawks Emerge Under Trump

It's remarkable how quickly Democrats rediscover their appetite for military action the moment a Republican takes office. For four years, Biden appeased the Iranian mullahs, unfroze billions in assets, and watched as Tehran grew bolder by the day. Now suddenly, with Trump back in the White House, Democrats want Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) against Iran?

"Iran is not in control of the skies, because of the Israeli strikes last year, anything above 10,000 feet, Iran really has no domain awareness," Auchincloss told CNN.

This sounds like a setup, Patriots. Democrats spent years undermining Trump's maximum pressure campaign against Iran, criticized the takeout of terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani, and now they want to hand this administration war powers against the regime?

President Trump has consistently shown he can handle Iran through strength without unnecessary wars. His first term proved that tough sanctions, strategic strikes, and America First foreign policy can contain Iranian aggression without dragging us into another Middle Eastern conflict.

The American people didn't vote for more endless wars. They voted for peace through strength and an end to the foreign policy establishment's war games. Let's hope Trump sees through this Democrat trap and continues his proven approach of maximum pressure without maximum casualties.

They were definitely more aggressive under the previous administration - coincidence? I think not.

Typical Democrat hypocrisy! They stayed silent for 4 years while Biden let Iran run wild, and now suddenly they want to act tough?

Exactly! Where was this backbone when Iran was attacking our bases and funding terror groups across the Middle East?

As someone who served in the Gulf, I'm all for stopping Iran's aggression, but the timing is suspicious. Why didn't they support strong action when we actually had weak leadership that emboldened Tehran?
