Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner just delivered a knockout blow to one of the most outrageous government scams in American history β illegal aliens getting FREE housing on the taxpayers' dime.
Speaking exclusively on "The Alex Marlow Show" Thursday, Turner revealed the Trump administration is implementing a new "qualified citizens" rule that will finally close what he called a "decades-old loophole" that has allowed illegal immigrants to exploit public housing programs.
"There is a decades-old loophole in our regulation right now called mixed-status household that we're closing with our new proposed rule of qualified citizens," Turner explained, dropping a bombshell that should have every hardworking American cheering.
The Scam Finally EXPOSED
For years, the so-called "mixed-status household" regulation has been nothing more than a backdoor welfare program for people who broke our laws to get here. While American families struggle to afford rent and veterans sleep on the streets, illegal aliens have been gaming the system to secure taxpayer-funded housing.
This is exactly the kind of America Last policy that President Trump was elected to END. Turner's announcement shows this administration is serious about putting Americans first and stopping the exploitation of our generosity.
"We're not going to allow people who violated our immigration laws to jump ahead of American citizens who are waiting for affordable housing," a HUD official told reporters.
The timing couldn't be more perfect. As Trump ramps up his mass deportation efforts, Secretary Turner is making sure illegals can't hide out in government-subsidized housing while hardworking Americans get pushed to the back of the line.
Patriots React
Conservative lawmakers are already praising the move as long overdue. This is what happens when you have an administration that actually believes in enforcing the law and protecting American interests.
How many more loopholes are Democrats hiding in the federal bureaucracy? And why did it take a Trump administration to finally close this obvious scam that's been bleeding taxpayers dry for decades?
