FACTORY OWNER to Trump: 'Tariffs WORK' - Steel Plant Goes From 1 HOUR Per Week to Full Capacity

A steel plant owner looked President Trump dead in the eye and said two words that tell you everything about what's actually happening in America right now: "Tariffs work." No spin. No talking points. Just a man whose company went from one hour of work per week to running full capacity around the clock, standing in front of the president who made it possible.

Andrew Saville, owner of Coosa Steel in Rome, Georgia, has been making steel racks and plates for over 50 years. American workers. American sweat. American products stamped Made in the USA. Then the globalists got their way.

China flooded the market with subsidized products at $90 a piece while American production costs sat at $150. There was no competing. Two shifts six days a week collapsed to one shift, then three days, then one day, then one hour. One hour per week. That's what decades of failed trade policy did to American manufacturing.

Then Trump won. And everything changed.

In October 2025, Saville landed his first massive tire rack order in ten years. The order was so large he thought it was a mistake. It wasn't a mistake. It was tariffs. Now they're running two shifts a day, six days a week with a 36-week lead time on orders. They installed a brand new crane just two months ago.

"Your policy brought it here, sir," Saville told Trump during his Georgia visit.

But this story goes far beyond one steel plant. Trump revealed numbers the media has completely buried: More than 5,000 new manufacturing jobs created in Georgia alone. Over 70,000 construction jobs building new factories across the state. More Americans working today than at any time in the history of the country.

Peter Navarro called it the best economy since 1998 and said the data shows it could be one of the greatest economic years in modern American history. CPI inflation has fallen to its lowest level since 2021. Real wages are up nearly $1,400. Private sector job growth hit 170,000 — real jobs for real Americans, not the inflated government hiring numbers the Biden regime used to fake progress.

The American dream isn't dead, patriots. It's being rebuilt one tariff, one tax cut, and one executive order at a time. The Democrats voted against every single one of these policies. Every one.

How many more American factories need to come back to life before the media admits Trump was right all along?

This hits close to home - my brother works at a steel mill in Ohio and they went from layoffs to overtime in just two years after Trump's tariffs kicked in. The media kept saying tariffs would hurt consumers but nobody talked about the thousands of manufacturing jobs that came back.

Exactly! The establishment economists were completely wrong about this just like they were wrong about so many other things.

Finally someone in the media is reporting on tariffs actually working instead of just parroting the same old free trade talking points. When you protect American industry, American workers win - it's that simple!
