A damning new investigation has exposed the revolving door of taxpayer money flowing directly into the pockets of radical pro-illegal immigration groups like the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) – and patriots, you're going to be furious when you see how deep this rabbit hole goes.

The pattern is as predictable as it is infuriating: Crisis hits, CHIRLA shows up with their hand out, and liberal politicians like Gavin Newsom gladly fork over YOUR hard-earned tax dollars to fund their anti-American agenda. Rinse and repeat, over and over again.

According to the investigation from PJ Media, CHIRLA's latest cash grab came after the devastating Pacific Palisades and Eaton fires, where they swooped in to collect both Los Angeles city and county funds supposedly to help "immigrants" affected by the blazes. But here's what they won't tell you – this is the same group that was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Mayor Karen Bass cheering on the June 2025 Los Angeles riots that tore the city apart.

And it doesn't stop there, folks. Before the fires, CHIRLA was busy "hoovering up COVID" funds during the pandemic, turning every crisis into an opportunity to pad their coffers while hardworking Americans struggled to keep their businesses afloat.

The Ultimate Taxpayer Scam

This is how the game works in Democrat-run California: Liberal groups like CHIRLA create problems by advocating for open borders and opposing ICE enforcement, then they profit off the chaos they've helped create. It's the ultimate taxpayer-funded scam, and Gavin Newsom is their willing accomplice.

"Every crisis becomes an opportunity for these groups to line their pockets with taxpayer money while promoting policies that hurt American citizens," said one observer familiar with CHIRLA's operations.

Meanwhile, actual American citizens who lost everything in those same fires are left navigating endless bureaucracy just to get basic assistance. But if you're an illegal immigrant advocacy group with the right political connections? The money flows like water.

This is exactly the kind of government waste and corruption that President Trump's DOGE initiative, led by Elon Musk, needs to investigate and eliminate. How many more CHIRLA-style operations are out there, systematically draining taxpayer funds to advance radical left-wing agendas?

It's time to shut down this gravy train once and for all. American taxpayers deserve better than watching their money fund the very groups working to undermine our immigration laws and cheer on urban riots.

Finally someone is exposing this! I've been wondering where all our tax dollars go and this explains so much.

Same here. The amount of money flowing to these organizations with zero accountability is staggering.

This is exactly why we need to audit every single nonprofit getting government funding. How many more organizations are doing this same thing?

This is a perfect example of why government keeps growing. Once you create these funding streams, the beneficiaries will fight tooth and nail to keep them flowing regardless of results.

Can someone explain how these funding mechanisms actually work? I want to understand the process better so I can contact my representatives about it.

I work in municipal government and see this firsthand. These groups apply for every grant available and hire armies of grant writers to keep the money flowing. It's become a full-time business model.

That's infuriating but not surprising. Thanks for the inside perspective.
