In a disgraceful post on X, HuffPost essentially called American flag-waving and "USA!" chants a turn-off, writing: "If waving the American flag or chanting 'USA!' turns you off right now, you're..." The message was clear: these America-hating leftists think patriotism is somehow problematic.
But Patriots across the nation weren't having it. The backlash was swift and brutal.
"Imagine being so consumed by hatred for your own country that you attack people for celebrating an incredible Olympic victory," one user fired back. "This is why Americans rejected your toxic ideology in 2024."
Another patriot summed it up perfectly: "We just witnessed history — our hockey heroes brought home gold for the first time in 46 years. If that doesn't make you proud to be American, maybe the problem isn't us."

Remember, these are the same people who spent four years under Biden telling us America was systemically racist and fundamentally flawed. Now that President Trump has restored American strength and confidence, they can't stand seeing us celebrate our greatness.
