The results are in, and they're a complete vindication of President Trump's relentless push for election integrity. A powerful new poll conducted across five critical battleground states shows overwhelming bipartisan support for requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.

The Heritage Action survey polled Republican, Democrat, and independent voters in Alaska, Georgia, Maine, Ohio, and North Carolina – states that have been at the center of America's election battles. The findings? A decisive majority of Americans want common-sense safeguards that ensure only legal citizens participate in choosing our leaders.

This data completely destroys the left's narrative that election integrity measures are somehow "racist" or "voter suppression." When even Democrat voters support citizenship verification, it exposes just how radical the party establishment has become in opposing basic election security.

The SAVE America Act Gets Vindication

The poll specifically tested support for key provisions of the SAVE America Act, legislation that would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship for federal voter registration. While Democrats in Congress fought this tooth and nail, their own voters are telling a very different story.

Think about it, Patriots – we require proof of citizenship for everything from getting a driver's license to applying for government benefits. But somehow, according to the radical left, asking for the same verification to vote in federal elections is beyond the pale?

"The American people understand what Washington elites refuse to acknowledge: our elections must be secure, transparent, and limited to actual U.S. citizens," a Heritage Action spokesperson noted.

This poll proves that Trump's focus on election integrity isn't some fringe position – it's exactly what voters across the political spectrum want. From Alaska to Georgia, Americans are demanding that we protect the sacred right to vote by ensuring only those legally entitled to that right can exercise it.

The question now is whether Democrats will finally listen to their own voters, or continue pushing policies that undermine confidence in our electoral system. Given their track record, don't hold your breath.

How is this even controversial? Every other country requires this!

I had to show my ID and proof of citizenship when I registered to vote 30 years ago. When did we stop caring about election integrity?

What's the argument against this exactly? I've never heard a logical reason why proving you're eligible to vote is somehow wrong.

This is why we need to push harder at the state level. The feds won't act, so it's up to us to secure our own elections.

100% agree. My state just passed voter ID laws and turnout actually went UP. Funny how that works.

The fact that this is considered a 'battleground' issue shows how far we've fallen. Basic election security should be bipartisan.

Finally! This should be common sense - you need ID to buy groceries, get on a plane, or open a bank account. Why is voting any different?

Exactly right! The left acts like this is some impossible burden when it's literally basic civic responsibility.
