BREAKING: Rubio and Ratcliffe to Brief Gang of Eight on Iran THREAT Hours Before Trump's State of the Union

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA Director John Ratcliffe are set to deliver a high-stakes classified briefing to the Gang of Eight congressional leaders on mounting tensions with Iran, just hours before President Trump delivers his State of the Union address to the nation.

The timing of this urgent briefing speaks volumes about the serious nature of the Iranian threat facing America. While the Biden administration spent four years appeasing the terrorist regime in Tehran and essentially funding their nuclear program through sanctions relief, President Trump is now forced to clean up yet another foreign policy disaster left by his predecessor.

The classified session comes as nuclear talks with Iran are scheduled to resume Thursday morning – talks that wouldn't be necessary if the disastrous Iran nuclear deal had never been revived under Biden's watch. Patriots remember how Trump successfully withdrew from that terrible agreement in his first term, only to watch Biden crawl back to the negotiating table with the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.

"Iran has never been closer to a nuclear weapon than they are today, thanks to the Biden regime's weak-kneed approach to foreign policy," said one congressional source familiar with the briefing preparations.

This briefing underscores exactly why Americans voted overwhelmingly to return Donald Trump to the White House. While Democrats and the deep state establishment prefer endless wars and diplomatic failures, Trump has consistently delivered peace through strength – something Iran's mullahs understand and respect.

The fact that Ratcliffe and Rubio – two America First patriots who actually put our national interests ahead of globalist priorities – are leading this briefing should give every American confidence that we finally have serious people handling serious threats.

As President Trump prepares to address the nation in his State of the Union, expect him to deliver the kind of strong, clear message on Iran that we never heard during four years of Biden's weakness. The question isn't whether America can handle Iran – it's whether Iran is ready for Trump 47.

Are you ready to see real American strength restored on the world stage?

Finally, some real leadership on Iran! Trump knew how to handle these threats and it looks like his team is still on top of it.

Exactly! Remember how quiet Iran was during Trump's presidency? They knew not to test him.

Good! The Gang of Eight needs to be fully briefed on what Iran is planning.

As someone who served in the Middle East, Iran has been a problem for decades. At least we have people like Rubio and Ratcliffe who understand the seriousness of this threat and won't appease them like the last administration did.

Thank you for your service! And you're absolutely right - appeasement never works with regimes like Iran.

What kind of threat are we talking about here? Is this related to their nuclear program or something more immediate? The timing right before SOTU seems very deliberate.

This is exactly why we need strong intelligence leadership. Ratcliffe was excellent as DNI and Rubio knows foreign policy inside and out. Iran better think twice before trying anything.
