A Biden-appointed federal judge just proved exactly why Trump's judicial picks were so crucial for America's future. Judge Dana Douglas has made the laughably absurd argument that because previous administrations chose not to enforce certain immigration laws, the current government is somehow now prohibited from enforcing them.
Let that sink in, Patriots. This activist judge is literally claiming she doesn't understand what the word "shall" means in federal statutes.
According to reports from The Federalist, Judge Douglas ruled that just because the government previously declined to enforce a law, it's now banned from doing so. This twisted logic would essentially mean that any time a liberal administration ignores the law, future administrations are forever prevented from actually following it.
Judicial Activism at Its Worst
This is the same kind of deep state judicial activism that plagued Trump's first term and continues to rear its ugly head as he works to secure our border and enforce immigration law. These Biden judges seem to think their job is to be policy makers rather than law interpreters.
The word "shall" in legal terms means mandatory – not optional, not suggested, but required. Any first-year law student knows this. But apparently Judge Douglas missed that day in law school, or more likely, she's deliberately twisting the law to protect illegal immigrants and obstruct Trump's America First agenda.
"When federal law says the government 'shall' do something, that's not a suggestion – it's a command," constitutional experts have repeatedly stated.
This ruling perfectly illustrates why Trump's mission to drain the swamp and reform our judicial system is so critical. We can't have activist judges rewriting laws from the bench just because they disagree with enforcing immigration statutes.
How many more ways will Biden-appointed judges try to sabotage Trump's efforts to secure our border and protect American citizens? The deep state's tentacles run deep, but Trump isn't backing down.
