Just when you thought Democrats couldn't get any more shameless, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are now pretending they care about border security. Don't fall for it, Patriots – this is nothing but political theater from the same people who brought us the border disaster in the first place.
At the Munich Security Conference last week, Clinton had the audacity to claim there's a "legitimate reason" to debate immigration limits, saying it "went too far" and has been "disruptive and destabilizing." This from the woman who called Trump's border wall "un-American" and pushed for open borders throughout her failed 2016 campaign.
Obama, meanwhile, has been making similar statements about the need for "comprehensive" immigration reform – convenient timing now that President Trump is back in the White House implementing the mass deportation program that's already showing results.
Conservative Commentator Calls Out the Scam
The Blaze's John Doyle isn't buying this sudden conversion, and neither should any thinking American. "This is classic Democrat playbook," Doyle explains. "They create the crisis, watch it destroy communities across America, then swoop in pretending to be the reasonable voices when a Republican president actually fixes their mess."
Where were these concerns when Biden's handlers were shipping unvetted migrants to small towns across America? Where was this "humanitarian" concern when children were being trafficked across our southern border under policies these same Democrats championed?
"They're not fooling anyone with half a brain. This is damage control because they know Trump's deportation program is popular with actual Americans who have to live with the consequences of their failed policies."
The timing couldn't be more obvious. With Trump's border security measures proving successful and public opinion firmly behind America First immigration policies, suddenly the architects of open borders want to sound reasonable.
Don't let them rewrite history, folks. These are the same politicians who called YOU racist for wanting basic border security. Now they want credit for discovering what Patriots have known all along – that nations need borders to survive.
The real question is: will voters remember who created this mess when election time comes around again?
