The same Democrats who spent years calling border security "racist" and "xenophobic" are now magically discovering that mass immigration might actually be a problem. But before conservatives start celebrating, one sharp analyst is warning America: this is nothing but a calculated scam.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently shocked audiences at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, admitting that immigration "went too far" and has been "disruptive and destabilizing." Meanwhile, Barack Obama has also made recent statements acknowledging the need for immigration limitations — a stunning reversal from the man whose administration fought President Trump's border policies tooth and nail.
"There is a legitimate reason to have a debate about things like migration. It went too far. It's been disruptive and destabilizing, and it needs to be fixed in a humane way with secure borders that don't torture and kill people," Clinton said, apparently forgetting her previous stance that any border enforcement was tantamount to fascism.
"Don't fall for this obvious political theater from the left. They're only changing their tune now because Trump is back in power and actually fixing the mess they created."
Conservative commentator John Doyle isn't buying the sudden conversion for one second. According to Doyle, this apparent flip is nothing more than political opportunism designed to gaslight Americans into forgetting who created the border crisis in the first place.
Think about the timing here, folks. For years, these same Democrats demonized President Trump for wanting to build a wall and secure our borders. They called his policies "inhumane" and fought every common-sense immigration reform. But now that Trump is back in office and actually delivering on his mass deportation promises, suddenly they're concerned about "destabilizing" migration?
This is classic Democrat strategy: create the problem, deny the problem exists, attack anyone trying to fix the problem, then when the damage is undeniable, pretend you were always on the right side while positioning yourself as the "reasonable" voice for solutions.
The question every patriot should be asking is this: if Clinton and Obama really believed immigration had "gone too far," where were they when Biden was presiding over the worst border crisis in American history? Why wait until now to speak up?
