The radical left's mask is slipping again, Patriots. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who's running for Senate in Texas, just got caught red-handed silencing the very media that usually covers for Democrats - and it's absolutely revealing.
According to reports, Crockett's campaign has been playing authoritarian strongman with journalists, physically escorting an Atlantic reporter out of a rally and even calling Capitol Police on a CNN journalist who visited their campaign office. Let that sink in - they called the COPS on a CNN reporter. CNN! The network that spent four years running interference for Biden!
This is the same Jasmine Crockett who lectures Republicans about "threats to democracy" while literally having reporters removed from public events. The hypocrisy is staggering, but sadly not surprising from today's radical Democrats.
When Even Liberal Media Isn't Liberal Enough
What's particularly telling here is that Crockett's team went after mainstream outlets that typically give Democrats softball treatment. If they're willing to silence The Atlantic and CNN, imagine how they'd treat conservative journalists or everyday Americans asking tough questions.
This is exactly the kind of authoritarian behavior we've come to expect from the far-left wing of the Democrat Party. They preach about press freedom and democracy, but the moment journalists dare to do actual journalism instead of serving as campaign volunteers, out come the security guards and police calls.
Texas voters need to ask themselves: if Jasmine Crockett can't handle basic media scrutiny during a campaign, how is she going to represent their interests in the U.S. Senate? If she's calling cops on CNN reporters now, what will she do to conservative voices if given real power?
The Trump administration has shown Americans what transparency looks like, with regular press conferences and direct communication with the people. Meanwhile, Democrats like Crockett are literally having journalists escorted out by security.
Texas deserves better than another authoritarian Democrat who thinks silencing inconvenient questions is the path to power. Will Lone Star State voters see through this anti-media charade?
