DELUSIONAL: Raskin Claims Trump 'Has No Role' in Midterm Elections - Constitution Says Otherwise

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) is at it again, displaying his fundamental misunderstanding of the Constitution while trying to diminish President Trump's rightful authority over federal election oversight.

Speaking on MSNBC's "The Briefing" Thursday, the failed impeachment manager made the absurd claim that Trump "has no role constitutionally" in administering midterm elections. This is the same partisan hack who spent years trying to overturn the 2016 election and impeach Trump twice.

But here's what Raskin conveniently ignores: The President of the United States absolutely has constitutional authority over federal election administration through multiple executive branch agencies. The Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies all play crucial roles in ensuring election integrity - and they all report to President Trump.

"This is typical Raskin - making up constitutional law as he goes along to fit his anti-Trump narrative," said one constitutional scholar. "The executive branch has clear oversight responsibilities for federal elections."

What's really happening here? Democrats are terrified that Trump will use his legitimate executive powers to ensure the 2026 midterms are conducted fairly and legally. They're trying to gaslight Americans into believing the President has no role in election oversight.

Deep State Panic Mode

Remember, this is the same party that weaponized federal agencies against Trump for years. Now that he's back in power with a mandate to clean house, suddenly they want to pretend federal agencies have nothing to do with elections?

Under Trump's leadership, agencies like DHS are already working to secure voter rolls, combat foreign interference, and ensure only legal votes are counted. That's exactly what the American people voted for in 2024.

Patriots know better than to trust anything coming from Raskin's mouth. This is the man who helped orchestrate the January 6th witch hunt and consistently puts partisan politics above constitutional duty.

The real question is: What are Democrats so afraid of when it comes to election integrity? Why don't they want the President ensuring fair and secure elections?

Raskin clearly hasn't read Article II lately! Trump as the leader of the Republican Party absolutely has a constitutional role in supporting candidates and campaigning. This is basic civics, Jamie.

Exactly right! Plus he's literally endorsed dozens of candidates - how is that 'no role'?

I went to a Trump rally last month where he was campaigning for our local House candidate. Raskin must be living in an alternate reality if he thinks that's not having a role in the midterms.
