On her aptly named "I've Had It" podcast, Welch went absolutely ballistic over Newsom's common-sense observation. Apparently, the idea that normal Americans might be turned off by the left's increasingly bizarre cultural extremism was just too much for this liberal snowflake to handle.
When Basic Sanity Becomes 'Dangerous'
Think about how far off the deep end these people have gone. Newsom - hardly a conservative by any stretch - simply acknowledged what every rational person already knows: voters don't want radical gender ideology pushed on their kids, they don't want biological men dominating women's sports, and they're tired of being lectured about their "privilege" by wealthy coastal elites.
But for Welch and her fellow travelers, even this mild dose of reality was apparently too much to bear. The fact that a prominent Democrat would dare suggest toning down the woke insanity sent her into a complete tailspin.
"This is exactly why President Trump won such a decisive victory in 2024," said one political analyst. "Americans are sick of the radical left's war on normalcy, and even some Democrats are finally starting to figure that out."
Welch's unhinged reaction perfectly illustrates why the Democrat Party is in complete disarray. While President Trump is delivering on his America First agenda and bringing sanity back to Washington, the left is busy having meltdowns over the radical idea that maybe - just maybe - they should try appealing to normal Americans instead of pandering to their most extreme activists.
