The world's largest state sponsor of terrorism just learned the hard way that America has a real leader again. President Donald J. Trump ordered Operation Epic Fury this past weekend, launching devastating strikes against the Iranian regime that took out Ayatollah Khamenei himself — a man responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans over four decades of bloodshed.
"Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead," President Trump declared. "This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei."
Let that sink in, Patriots. After 47 years of "Death to America" chants, failed diplomatic overtures, and countless American servicemembers coming home in flag-draped coffins, a president finally had the courage to end this nightmare.
Devastating Precision: What Epic Fury Has Accomplished
The numbers speak for themselves. Since the operation began, American forces have:
- Eliminated the Ayatollah and 49 senior Iranian leaders
- Destroyed ten of Iran's most important naval ships
- Annihilated Iranian defense systems, missile launch sites, and military airfields
- Targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control facilities
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth laid out the mission with crystal clarity: "The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser focused: destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have nuclear weapons."
No more half-measures. No more pallets of cash flown in the dead of night. No more appeasement.
Iran Refused Every Chance at Peace
Make no mistake — President Trump gave Iran every opportunity to choose a different path. He warned them at least 30 times that they could not have nuclear weapons. After Operation Midnight Hammer obliterated their nuclear facilities last summer, the regime had a choice: negotiate in good faith or face the consequences.
They chose poorly.
"They rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions," President Trump explained. "Instead, they attempted to rebuild their nuclear program and to continue developing long-range missiles that can now threaten our very good friends and allies in Europe, our troops stationed overseas and could soon reach the American homeland."
The Iranian regime also tried to assassinate President Trump himself in 2024. They trained, funded, and armed Hamas before the October 7th massacre that killed 46 Americans. They're responsible for the 1983 Beirut bombing that killed 241 Marines, the Khobar Towers attack that killed 19 servicemembers, and over 600 American deaths in Iraq.
Enough was enough.
Heroes Fall, But the Mission Continues
Six American soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Epic Fury. President Trump honored them with the respect they deserve: "As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation... We send our immense love & eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen."
Secretary Hegseth added: "A grateful nation honors the four Americans we have lost thus far and those injured — the absolute best of America. May we prosecute the remainder of this operation in a manner that honors them. No apologies, no hesitation — Epic Fury for them and the thousands of Americans before them taken too soon by Iranian radicals."
The World Stands With Trump
While the radical left predictably melts down, world leaders are rallying behind America's decisive action. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it "an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran," thanking President Trump for his "historic leadership."
Australia, Canada, the UK, France, and Germany have all voiced support for preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Even Democrat Senator John Fetterman acknowledged reality: "President Trump has been willing to do what's right and necessary to produce real peace in the region."
The Squad Sides With Terrorists — Again
But of course, the usual suspects couldn't help themselves. Rep. Ilhan Omar called it "sickening" that America would defend itself during Ramadan — apparently terrorists deserve a holiday pass. Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called the strikes "unlawful" and "catastrophic." Communist New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani called it "an illegal war of aggression."
Most disgracefully, Rep. Rashida Tlaib referred to America as "they" — separating herself from the very nation she supposedly represents. These people have made their allegiances clear, and it's not with the American people.
Constitutional Authority — Despite Democrat Lies
Democrats are already screaming about congressional authorization, but President Trump has every legal right to conduct these operations under Article II of the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief. He has an obligation to protect American troops and assets from Iran's ballistic missile threat, the IRGC's five-decade campaign of terror, and nuclear weapons that threaten the homeland.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio properly informed the Gang of Eight before the attacks. Every legal box was checked.
Biden's Failure Made This Necessary
Let's be clear about how we got here. The Biden administration emboldened Iran at every turn, refusing to counter their nuclear program while American servicemembers died from Iranian-backed attacks across the Middle East. Four years of weakness invited aggression.
President Trump is cleaning up the mess — again — while protecting American lives and securing peace for generations to come.
"To the great, proud people of Iran," President Trump declared, "I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand... America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force. Now is the time to seize control of your destiny."
This is what American leadership looks like. This is what happens when you have a president who puts America First and refuses to let terrorists threaten our people.
The question now is simple: Will the Iranian people rise up and claim their freedom, or will the remnants of the regime continue choosing death over prosperity? Either way, one thing is certain — Iran will never threaten America with nuclear weapons. President Trump has made sure of that.
God bless our troops, and God bless America.
