EXPOSED: Hakeem Jeffries DEMOLISHES Himself Over Democrats' War Powers Hypocrisy

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries just served up a master class in political hypocrisy so breathtaking that even his own party allies are cringing. The New York Democrat's recent attempt to defend his party's flip-flopping on presidential war powers has blown up in his face, reminding Americans exactly why they rejected these hypocrites at the ballot box.

Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we? Back in March 2011, Barack Obama decided to bomb Libya into oblivion with the express purpose of removing Muammar Gaddafi from power. Did Obama bother asking Congress for authorization? Of course not. And did Democrats care? Not one bit.

Nancy Pelosi, who was House Minority Leader at the time, brazenly declared that President Obama didn't need Congress's permission to launch airstrikes against a sovereign nation. No constitutional crisis. No impeachment threats. No screaming about "dangerous precedents" or "threats to democracy."

The Rules Only Apply to Republicans

Fast forward to today, and these same Democrats are suddenly constitutional scholars when it comes to presidential war powers—but only when a Republican is in the White House. Jeffries' recent comments attempting to justify this blatant double standard have exposed the left's complete lack of principles.

"The hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Democrats cheered when Obama bombed Libya without congressional approval, but now they want to lecture us about war powers? Give me a break."

This is the same party that spent four years screaming about "norms" and "constitutional guardrails" during Trump's first term, yet they had no problem whatsoever when their guy launched military operations without so much as a courtesy call to Capitol Hill.

Patriots, this is exactly why Americans voted overwhelmingly for President Trump's return to the White House. We're tired of the left's selective outrage and weaponized hypocrisy. When Democrats hold power, the Constitution is apparently just a suggestion. When Republicans are in charge, suddenly they're strict constructionists.

Jeffries' fumbling explanation of his party's war powers flip-flop isn't just embarrassing—it's a perfect encapsulation of everything wrong with today's Democratic Party. They have no fixed principles, only political convenience.

Classic Jeffries - talks a big game about executive overreach when Trump was president, but suddenly goes silent when it's convenient for his party. This is exactly why Americans don't trust politicians anymore.

Couldn't agree more. The double standard is so blatant it's almost comical at this point.

As someone who served 20 years in the military, I've seen firsthand how dangerous it is when Congress abdicates its war powers responsibilities. Either you believe in constitutional limits or you don't - can't have it both ways depending on who's in the White House.
