The same radical Democrat who tried to impeach President Trump is now defending illegal immigrants getting commercial driver's licenses, proving once again that the left's priorities are completely backwards.
Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) disrupted a House hearing Tuesday examining how illegal aliens are obtaining commercial driving licenses, accusing Republicans of "scapegoating immigrants" while they work to protect American roads and jobs.
This is the same Thanedar who filed impeachment articles against Trump, showing his track record of obstructing common-sense policies that put Americans first. Now he's literally shouting down lawmakers trying to address a serious national security and public safety issue.
The hearing was examining how illegal immigrants are gaming the system to obtain CDLs - licenses that allow them to operate massive commercial vehicles on our highways. But instead of supporting efforts to crack down on this obvious abuse, Thanedar chose to grandstand and protect lawbreakers.
Americans React With Outrage
Patriotic Americans on social media didn't hold back their disgust. One user posted: "Thanedar looks like a geek at the carnival. An apology to geeks for comparing them to this thing."
Another frustrated American wrote: "This scum bag Thanedar should be deported with Omar. We should strip citizenship from all foreigner Dem politicians and deport them worry about legal process later."
"I think she did exactly what Omar did, but he married his sister. See resemblance there," posted another social media user, highlighting the pattern of radical Democrats protecting illegal behavior.
While Trump's administration works tirelessly to secure our borders and implement the largest deportation operation in American history, Democrats like Thanedar are still playing defense for people who shouldn't even be in our country.
This disruption perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with the modern Democrat party - they'll impeach a president for putting America first, then scream and shout to protect illegal immigrants who are taking jobs and endangering public safety.
How many more Americans need to suffer before Democrats start caring more about their own constituents than illegal aliens?
