While President Trump is charging full steam ahead with his America First agenda, a concerning trend is emerging from within conservative media ranks that could spell disaster for the 2026 midterms.
Michael Knowles of The Daily Wire delivered a scathing rebuke to fellow conservative podcasters during remarks at the House GOP Members' Issues Conference in Doral, Florida, warning that infighting among right-wing media figures could hand Democrats unexpected victories in November.
"With a Right made up of podcasters, who needs the Left?" Knowles asked pointedly, highlighting how some conservative influencers seem more interested in generating clicks through controversy than building the unified front necessary to maintain Republican control of Congress.
The Stakes Have Never Been Higher
This isn't just media drama, Patriots – this is about preserving Trump's transformative second-term agenda. With mass deportations underway, the deep state finally being dismantled, and America's economic dominance being restored, the last thing we need is conservative podcasters creating unnecessary division in our own ranks.
"At a time when conservative new media figures should be rallying the troops to win in November, the podcasters have proven themselves incapable of..." Knowles continued, according to the Daily Wire piece.
The timing couldn't be worse. President Trump has delivered on nearly every campaign promise in his first year back in office. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is securing our border, Elon Musk's DOGE initiative is slashing government waste, and Attorney General Pam Bondi is cleaning house at the corrupt DOJ.
Yet instead of celebrating these historic victories and preparing for midterm success, some conservative podcasters appear to be prioritizing personal brands over the movement that gave them their platforms.
Unity Over Ego
The message from Knowles should be a wake-up call for every conservative media figure: your audience didn't tune in to watch you tear down fellow patriots. They came for the truth the mainstream media won't tell them, and for strategies to keep winning.
Republicans can't afford to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Will conservative podcasters put America First, or will their egos hand the midterms to the radical left?
