Actor Javier Bardem led the charge, wearing an anti-war patch reading "No a la Guerra" and declaring "No to war and free Palestine" while presenting the best international feature film award. The same actor who protested the Iraq War two decades ago is now targeting America's strongest Middle Eastern ally during a time of war.
The virtue-signaling spectacle didn't stop there. Multiple celebrities used their red carpet interviews to bash Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Trump's common-sense deportation policies that are finally securing our southern border after years of Biden's open-border disaster.
"These Hollywood hypocrites live behind gated communities with private security while lecturing working Americans about immigration policy," one conservative commentator noted. "They'll never face the consequences of illegal immigration that border communities deal with daily."
The anti-Israel messaging is particularly tone-deaf as our democratic ally continues fighting Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists who brutally attacked innocent civilians. But leave it to Hollywood's pampered class to side with terrorists over our allies while sipping champagne at their exclusive after-parties.
Elite Hypocrisy on Full Display
What's most infuriating is the sheer hypocrisy. These same celebrities who demand open borders live in multi-million dollar mansions with walls, gates, and armed security. They preach about "compassion" while their policies would flood American communities with crime, drugs, and economic devastation.
President Trump's ICE operations are removing dangerous criminals and restoring law and order to communities that suffered under four years of Biden's chaos. But Hollywood would rather protect their woke credentials than protect American families.
While celebrities virtue-signal about foreign conflicts they don't understand, real Americans are focused on jobs, inflation, and border security – issues these elites will never face from their ivory towers.
How long will patriots tolerate Hollywood lecturing us about politics while they live completely disconnected from the America they're trying to destroy?
