House Republican leadership is absolutely livid after Senate Republicans betrayed their own party and the American people by cutting a sweetheart deal with Democrats on Department of Homeland Security funding—conveniently leaving out the most critical piece: actual immigration enforcement.
In a move that would make Mitch McConnell proud, Senate Republicans rammed through funding for most of DHS operations while deliberately gutting the resources needed to secure our border and remove illegal aliens. Then, in an act of pure cowardice, these same senators literally fled Washington so they couldn't be forced to vote on the crucial SAVE America Act.
This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that drove millions of Americans to vote for President Trump's America First agenda. While Trump is working around the clock to implement the largest deportation operation in American history, his own party's senators are sabotaging him from within.
The Uniparty Strikes Again
The timing couldn't be more suspicious. With the Trump administration ramping up immigration enforcement and Democrats desperate to protect their illegal alien voting base, suddenly Senate Republicans develop a case of selective amnesia about campaign promises.
"This is an absolute betrayal of everything we ran on," one House GOP source told reporters. "We promised the American people we would secure the border and enforce our immigration laws. Instead, the Senate just handed Chuck Schumer everything he wanted on a silver platter."
The SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, has been a top priority for House conservatives. But rather than stand up for election integrity, Senate Republicans chose the path of least resistance—and maximum betrayal.
Patriots across the country are asking the obvious question: If we can't trust Republicans to fight for basic immigration enforcement and election integrity when they control the government, what exactly are we voting for?
This isn't just politics as usual—this is a direct assault on President Trump's mandate and the will of the American people. The swamp is fighting back, and unfortunately, some of that swamp water is flowing through Republican offices.
