CLUELESS: Canadian City Council Bans U.S. ICE Agents... Who Already Can't Operate There

You can't make this stuff up, Patriots. The brilliant minds on Toronto City Council just passed a motion demanding that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents stay out of their city. There's just one tiny problem – ICE literally cannot operate in Canada because it's, you know, a different country.

Yes, our liberal neighbors to the north have officially banned a U.S. federal agency that already has zero legal authority in Canadian territory. It's like passing a resolution to keep the Easter Bunny out of city hall – completely pointless but somehow fitting for a nation run by Justin Trudeau's brand of woke politics.

This ridiculous virtue-signaling comes as President Trump's mass deportation operation is ramping up across America, sending shockwaves through sanctuary cities and triggering liberal politicians from coast to coast. Apparently, the panic has spread so far that Canadian officials think they need to protect their turf from agencies that couldn't cross their border even if they wanted to.

"It's the perfect example of liberal hysteria meeting complete ignorance of basic sovereignty laws," one immigration expert noted. "These councilmembers literally banned something that was already impossible."

While Toronto politicians waste time on meaningless gestures, President Trump is delivering real results for American citizens. His administration's deportation efforts are already making communities safer and sending a clear message: if you're here illegally, your free ride is over.

The contrast couldn't be clearer – while American leadership focuses on enforcing actual laws and protecting actual borders, our northern neighbors are busy passing feel-good motions that accomplish absolutely nothing except making them look foolish on the world stage.

Maybe Toronto's city council should spend less time worrying about American law enforcement they clearly don't understand, and more time figuring out why so many Canadians are fleeing their socialist paradise for Florida every winter.

What's next – will they ban the FBI from investigating crimes in igloos? The possibilities for liberal stupidity truly know no bounds.

Peak virtue signaling right here folks.

This is exactly the kind of virtue signaling nonsense we've come to expect from Canadian politicians. They're so eager to bash America that they don't even understand how jurisdiction works!

Couldn't agree more. All for show and no substance.

Can someone explain how this even got past the legal review stage? Surely someone on that council understands basic sovereignty laws?

I've been in local government for 15 years and this is embarrassing. City councils should focus on potholes and garbage collection, not international immigration policy they clearly don't understand.

This! Stop wasting our tax dollars on meaningless resolutions!

Wait, so they banned something that was already illegal? That's like me banning the Russian navy from my swimming pool. These people need to take a civics class!

As someone who lives near the Canadian border, I can tell you that ICE coordination with Canadian authorities is actually pretty important for catching criminals who flee across. This just makes them look foolish.

I'm embarrassed by my own city council reading this. What a waste of taxpayer time and money.

Exactly right. There are legitimate law enforcement cooperation agreements that benefit both countries.

The headline says it all - absolutely clueless. This is what happens when politics trumps basic knowledge of how government actually works.
