According to reports from Washington, House and Senate Republicans have begun private discussions about a second reconciliation package - the party-line budget process that allows Trump's agenda to bypass Democrat obstruction. But instead of rallying behind the President who delivered them unified government control, establishment Republicans are already plotting to gut his America First priorities.
Sound familiar, Patriots? It should. These are the same swamp creatures who spent months last year nitpicking and backstabbing while Trump fought to deliver historic tax relief and border security to the American people. While the President was battling the Deep State and mainstream media attacks, his own party was busy playing political games in the halls of Congress.
RINOs Never Learn
The reconciliation process should be a slam dunk for Republicans. They control both chambers of Congress and have a mandate from voters who decisively rejected the failed Biden regime. Trump's agenda - mass deportations, energy dominance, and America First trade policies - is exactly what millions of Americans voted for in November.
But apparently, some Republicans would rather play Washington insider games than deliver for the working families who put them in office. Every day Republicans waste on internal squabbling is another day the administrative state continues strangling American businesses, our borders remain under assault, and hardworking families continue getting crushed by the failed policies of the Biden era.
