While President Trump works tirelessly to secure our borders and protect American citizens, this radical leftist wants to reward criminal border crossers with your hard-earned tax dollars and throw our brave ICE agents and border patrol officers under the bus for doing their jobs.
The Left's Twisted Definition of 'Justice'
Jayapal, herself an immigrant who clearly has no respect for the legal immigration process that allowed her to serve in Congress, is pushing legislation that would essentially punish America for having the audacity to enforce its own laws. Under her warped worldview, people who broke into our country illegally deserve compensation, while the men and women who risk their lives to protect our sovereignty deserve punishment.
This is the same radical Democrat who has consistently opposed every common-sense immigration reform, from the border wall to the Remain in Mexico policy. Now she wants to add insult to injury by making American taxpayers foot the bill for her globalist agenda.
"This represents everything wrong with the modern Democratic Party - they care more about illegal aliens than American citizens," said one immigration expert familiar with the proposal.
While families in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan struggle to put food on the table and pay their bills, Jayapal thinks we should be writing checks to people who thumbed their nose at our immigration system. Meanwhile, she wants to criminalize the very law enforcement officers who stand between us and complete chaos at our border.
