Democrats are making outrageous demands to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from polling places as part of their negotiations to end the Department of Homeland Security shutdown, Senator James Lankford (R-OK) revealed Monday.
The Oklahoma senator blasted Democrats for what he called "absurd" requests that would handicap America's immigration enforcement capabilities during a time when President Trump is implementing the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
"Democrats are demanding multiple absurd requests in the reform for the Department of Homeland Security," Lankford stated, highlighting the left's continued efforts to obstruct Trump's America First immigration agenda.
The House of Representatives rightfully rejected a Senate deal that would have reopened DHS with inadequate funding, instead pushing for full department funding through May 22nd. This gives the Trump-Vance administration the resources it needs to secure our borders and remove illegal immigrants who have flooded into our country during the disastrous Biden years.
Democrats Playing Politics With National Security
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) continues to lead Democratic obstruction efforts, putting partisan politics above American safety. The demand to ban ICE from polling places reveals the left's true priority: protecting illegal immigrants from legitimate law enforcement, even if it means compromising election integrity.
