Unable to win as Democrats in red America, party operatives are now floating the idea of running candidates who pretend to be independents. These fake independents will claim to be "above the partisan fray" while secretly advancing the same destructive leftist agenda that voters already rejected.
Think about it – this is classic Democrat behavior. When they can't win honestly, they cheat. When they can't persuade voters with their policies, they lie about what those policies actually are. And when they can't win as Democrats, they'll simply pretend not to be Democrats.
