It's the ultimate expression of coastal elite arrogance - treating red state Americans like anthropological specimens in their natural habitat.
Liberal Tourism at Its Worst
What kind of message does this send to her children? That Americans who support the Second Amendment, secure borders, and limited government are somehow exotic creatures to be observed from a safe distance? That the millions of patriots who voted for President Trump are just quaint relics of a bygone era?

While Jennifer Newsom plays tourist in red America, these same states are experiencing economic booms thanks to Trump's pro-business policies and are welcoming California refugees fleeing her husband's failed progressive experiment.
The irony is rich - the wife of a governor who has overseen California's decline into a homeless-infested, crime-ridden wasteland thinks she's qualified to judge the rest of America.
