Another day, another Democrat-run program exposed for massive corruption. Sheryl Davis, the former executive director of San Francisco's Human Rights Commission who once wielded enormous power over the city's so-called "Dream Keeper Initiative," has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies for allegedly stealing taxpayer funds.
Davis, who was once called "queen" by members of her community group MegaBlack SF, now faces the spectacular fall from grace that seems to follow every liberal activist who gets their hands on public money. How's that for "social justice," folks?
According to reports breaking across social media, Davis and nonprofit executive James Spingola were arrested in what authorities describe as a scheme involving conflicts of interest and the diversion of city funds for personal gain.

The National Review's coverage highlighted the broader corruption, noting that

This is exactly what happens when you give radical leftists control over millions in taxpayer dollars with virtually no oversight. The Dream Keeper Initiative was supposed to help communities, but instead it appears to have been a personal piggy bank for connected Democrats.
San Francisco observer Steve Wells captured the magnitude of Davis's fall, tweeting:
"Sheryl Davis, once San Francisco's most powerful civil rights watchdog, continued her spectacular fall on Monday when she was booked on suspicion of a raft of felony charges."
How many more of these corrupt "civil rights" programs are really just slush funds for Democrat operatives? While hardworking Americans struggle to pay their taxes, these so-called advocates are allegedly lining their pockets with public money meant to help the very communities they claim to serve.
