In what can only be described as a disgraceful attack on our military heroes, the Parma City School Board in Ohio is attempting to remove Air Force reservist Ashley McTaggart from her position while she's actively serving our country overseas.
Republican Rep. Max Miller (OH-7) is rightfully blasting these bureaucrats and demanding the Department of Defense intervene immediately to stop this outrageous betrayal of our servicemembers.
This is exactly the kind of woke nonsense that patriots across America are sick and tired of. While McTaggart is deployed, putting her life on the line for our freedom, these school board members back home are apparently more interested in playing political games than supporting our troops.
"This is an outrageous attempt to remove a dedicated Air Force reservist who is currently serving our nation overseas," Miller stated, calling on the Pentagon to take swift action.
Under federal law, the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act specifically protects military personnel from exactly this type of discrimination while they're deployed. These school board members either don't know the law or don't care - both scenarios are unacceptable.
This story perfectly illustrates why President Trump's agenda to end woke policies in government institutions is so critical. Too many local bureaucrats have been infected with anti-American sentiment, and they think they can get away with trampling on our heroes' rights.
With Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth now in charge at the Pentagon, you can bet this administration won't tolerate attacks on our servicemembers. Unlike the previous regime that weaponized government against patriots, Trump's team actually has our military's back.
The Parma City School Board needs to face serious consequences for this betrayal. Every American should be asking: what kind of country allows bureaucrats to stab our deployed soldiers in the back while they're defending our freedom overseas?
Rep. Miller deserves credit for standing up and fighting back. This is what real leadership looks like - protecting those who protect us.
