CNN's Van Jones had a complete meltdown Tuesday night, attacking President Trump for daring to attend oral arguments at the Supreme Court regarding his administration's birthright citizenship case. The liberal commentator apparently believes the President of the United States doesn't have the right to observe proceedings on his own policy.
Speaking on CNN's "The Source," Jones declared that "Donald Trump is doing the wrong thing" and claimed the President "did not belong at the oral arguments in the Supreme Court birthright citizenship case." This from the same network that spent years demanding Trump "respect our institutions."
The hypocrisy is staggering. When has any previous president been told they couldn't attend Supreme Court proceedings? This is just another example of the left's complete inability to accept that Trump is legitimately serving his second term and has every right to engage with all three branches of government.
Patriots Push Back on Media Bias
Social media users aren't buying the mainstream media's latest anti-Trump narrative. Twitter user @jonathan_f32966 perfectly captured the media manipulation at play, pointing out how outlets use loaded language: "words like 'deranged' and 'tantrum' aren't neutral — that's opinion baked into the headline."
"what actually happened? he criticized allies for not backing the iran" the user continued, highlighting how the media distorts Trump's legitimate policy positions into emotional attacks.
Meanwhile, another user @satya_murthy defended Trump's record, noting he's "a businessman-turned-politician who won the 2016 and 2024 elections, reshaping the GOP with America First policies, tax reforms, and Middle East deals like the Abraham Accords."
The Real Issue: Deep State Resistance
Jones' outburst reveals the establishment's continued panic over Trump's return to power. They can't stand that he's actively involved in pushing his America First agenda through every available channel, including working directly with the judicial branch on critical immigration issues.
The birthright citizenship case represents a cornerstone of Trump's mass deportation agenda - exactly what Americans voted for in 2024. Of course Trump belongs at those hearings. He's the President, and it's his policy being argued.
How long will the left continue embarrassing themselves with these desperate attacks on Trump's legitimate presidential activities?
