Yet another deranged leftist has been arrested by federal authorities for making violent threats against President Donald Trump, this time a Massachusetts man who allegedly posted on Facebook that "we're gonna hang him from the Statue of Liberty until his pathetic bloated corpse rots off falls in the ocean."

Andrew D. Emerald, 45, of Great Barrington was taken into custody Wednesday morning on eight federal counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications. The disturbing messages were posted to his Facebook account between May and July 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts.

This isn't just another case of online keyboard warriors spouting off – Emerald allegedly made specific threats about traveling to Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort to carry out his violent fantasies against the 47th President.

Social media users were quick to highlight the severity of these threats. Twitter user @judytgolf reported that "A Massachusetts father Andrew Emerald, 45, has been arrested by the FBI after he threatening to kill President Trump in a series of Facebook posts," while @michelle_selaty noted the timeline, stating Emerald "is accused of posting eight threatening messages on Facebook from May to July of 2025."

The fact that we're still seeing these kinds of deranged threats against President Trump in his second term shows just how successful the mainstream media and radical Democrats have been at weaponizing hatred against our duly elected leader. For years, they've painted Trump as an existential threat to democracy, and now we're seeing the poisonous fruits of that rhetoric.

Where's the outcry from the same Democrats who screamed about "dangerous rhetoric" when it suited their political agenda? Where are the calls for unity and toning down the political violence?

The hypocrisy is staggering, but not surprising. While they clutch their pearls over January 6th, actual death threats against a sitting president barely register on their outrage meter.

Patriots across America should be asking themselves: How many more Andrew Emeralds are out there, radicalized by years of anti-Trump propaganda? And when will the left finally be held accountable for the climate of hatred they've created?

Good! The Secret Service needs to prosecute these cases to the fullest extent of the law.

Completely agree. Threatening any president should result in immediate consequences.

I work in law enforcement and we've seen a huge uptick in political threats over the past few years. It's really concerning how normalized this rhetoric has become.

Can you imagine if someone had said this about Obama? The media would have covered it 24/7 for weeks.

The hypocrisy is off the charts these days.

When I was growing up, people respected the office of the presidency even if they disagreed with policies. This kind of violent language would have been unthinkable.

You're absolutely right. We've lost all sense of basic civility and respect.

Props to Massachusetts law enforcement for taking swift action. Political violence has no place in America regardless of party.

What specific charges is he facing? Does anyone know if this falls under federal terrorism statutes?
