The radical left's mask is slipping once again, this time in Maine where Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner is desperately trying to hide a deeply disturbing past that includes what appears to be a Nazi tattoo and social media posts mocking Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.

Platner, a 41-year-old oyster farmer and Marine veteran, is challenging Governor Janet Mills in the Democratic primary with hopes of eventually unseating Republican Senator Susan Collins. But his campaign is being derailed by scandal after scandal that reveals the true face of today's Democrat Party.

Most shocking is Platner's alleged Nazi tattoo - a Totenkopf (skull and crossbones) symbol infamously worn by SS officers during World War II. When confronted about this horrific imagery, Platner has scrambled to provide explanations that simply don't pass the smell test for Maine voters who remember what our Greatest Generation fought and died to defeat.

But wait - it gets worse. New reports indicate Platner has a history of mocking Christianity on social media, including blasphemous posts targeting Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. This is the man Democrats want to represent Maine in the U.S. Senate?

"Maine Democrat and candidate for the U.S. Senate Graham Platner's history continues to plague his efforts to portray a more moderate image to voters. Most notably, Platner has tried to explain away his Nazi tattoo," posted user @DChidera4042 on social media.

Despite these explosive revelations, some far-left activists are still defending Platner. One supporter claimed "The people of Maine understand that and that is why Graham Platner will be the state's next Senator," showing just how out of touch the radical base has become.

Interestingly, polling suggests that "older women" - typically a more conservative demographic - are gravitating toward Platner over the 78-year-old Mills, according to social media reports. But will these voters change their minds when they learn about his Nazi imagery and anti-Christian posts?

This scandal perfectly illustrates the moral bankruptcy of today's Democrat Party. While President Trump's second administration works to restore American values and strength, Democrats are literally running candidates with Nazi tattoos who mock our Lord and Savior.

The question Maine voters must ask themselves: Is this really the kind of person they want representing them in Washington?
