Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is facing fierce backlash after delivering what critics are calling a "word salad" response that appeared to equate President Trump's administration with Iran's brutal Ayatollah regime.
During a Fox News interview, when asked whether "we all would not be better off if the radicals in Iran did not make decisions for the people," El-Sayed gave a stunning response that left viewers speechless: "Radicalism is bad, which is why MAGA is so ridiculous."
The inflammatory comment immediately sparked outrage across social media, with conservatives exposing the Democrat's dangerous rhetoric. "BREAKING: Democrat Abdul El-Sayed compares the Trump admin to the Ayatollah," posted @EYakoby, sharing video of the shocking exchange.
"This is exactly the kind of radical thinking that has no place in the U.S. Senate. Comparing America First policies to a murderous theocracy shows how out of touch these Democrats really are."
But El-Sayed's controversial statements aren't his only problem. The Senate hopeful is also under fire for announcing campaign rallies with far-left antisemitic streamer Hasan Piker, according to reports. Republican candidate Mike Rogers has already criticized this alliance, highlighting the Democrat's pattern of embracing extremist voices.
The controversy deepens when you consider that fellow Democrat Elissa Slotkin previously criticized both Hasan for saying "America deserved 9/11" and El-Sayed for rallying with him. Yet as one observer noted, Slotkin "has no problem with going on Bill Maher despite Maher saying the 9/11 hijackers were brave for doing it. Hypocrisy at its finest."
This latest incident reveals the true face of today's Democratic Party – politicians so consumed with Trump Derangement Syndrome that they'll compare our duly elected President to murderous Iranian mullahs. Meanwhile, President Trump continues delivering on his America First agenda, securing our borders and restoring American strength on the world stage.
Michigan voters deserve better than a candidate who thinks MAGA patriots are equivalent to Islamic extremists. Will they reject this dangerous rhetoric at the ballot box?
