BETRAYAL: France BLOCKS UN Resolution to Defend Shipping from Iran - Stands with China and Russia Against America

In a stunning betrayal of Western allies, France has joined forces with China and Russia to block a crucial United Nations Security Council resolution that would have authorized the use of force to defend shipping in the Strait of Hormuz against Iranian threats.

The Gulf states, led by Bahrain, had drafted the resolution to protect vital shipping lanes that handle roughly 20% of global oil transit. But when it came time to stand with America and our Middle Eastern allies against Iranian aggression, France chose to side with our adversaries instead.

Social media erupted with outrage over France's shocking decision. "Russia, China, and France blocked an Arab-backed push at the U.N. Security Council to authorize military action against Iran over the Strait of Hormuz," reported Twitter user @danise_palmers, citing The New York Times.

"The Gulf States tried to advance a resolution in the UN Security Council allowing use of force to defend their ships in the Strait of Hormuz... Three countries blocked it. Russia, China... And FRANCE. You have got to be kidding me. What a disappointment Europe has been," posted @Shawn_Farash.

The betrayal becomes even more suspicious when you consider the personal animosity between French President Emmanuel Macron and President Trump. As @GarrettBullish observed, "China, Russia, and France just blocked the UN resolution to force Hormuz reopen... btw France was a surprise. maybe it's personal between Trump and Macron?"

This latest move by France demonstrates exactly why President Trump's America First foreign policy is so necessary. While our so-called "allies" stab us in the back at the United Nations, they expect American taxpayers to continue funding NATO and providing military protection for their own shores.

Iran's threats to close the Strait of Hormuz represent a clear danger to global energy security and American economic interests. Yet France - the same country that begged for American help in two World Wars - now stands with communist China and Putin's Russia against defending vital shipping lanes.

How long will American patriots tolerate allies who act like enemies when it matters most?

Can someone explain why France would side with China and Russia on this? What's their angle here - are they getting economic benefits from Iran that we don't know about?

France has been trying to salvage the Iran nuclear deal for years. They're probably afraid any military action will kill their diplomatic efforts completely.

The alliance between China, Russia, and Iran is getting stronger every day and our European 'partners' keep appeasing them. When will they learn that weakness only invites aggression?

Work in maritime logistics and insurance costs for Gulf routes have skyrocketed because of Iranian threats. France blocking this resolution will only make things worse for global commerce.

Macron showing his true colors again. France has been undermining NATO and US interests for years now, this is just the latest example.

Exactly! Remember when they pulled out of NATO's command structure back in the day? Same playbook.

I served in the Persian Gulf and saw firsthand how Iranian naval forces threaten international shipping. For France to block protection efforts is absolutely disgraceful. Our sailors put their lives on the line to keep those shipping lanes open.

This is why we need to stop relying on these so-called allies!
