Liberal celebrity chef José Andrés made a spectacle of himself outside the Supreme Court Wednesday, launching an unhinged attack on President Trump while our 47th President made history inside the courtroom defending America's immigration laws during oral arguments on birthright citizenship.
The Spanish-born chef, who has made millions off his celebrity status in America, had the audacity to protest Trump's efforts to restore constitutional order to our broken immigration system – and he chose to do it during America's 250th anniversary year, no less.
As Trump became the first sitting president to personally appear before the Supreme Court for oral arguments in over a century, Andrés was outside with the usual suspects of left-wing agitators trying to undermine the democratic process. Social media captured his inflammatory remarks, with one user posting: "Chef Jose Andres at Supreme Court birthright protest: There is no Americ..." showing just how radical his anti-American rhetoric became.
Another social media user noted that "Chef Jose Andres @chefjoseandres delivered a fiery speech outside of the Supreme Court during the oral arguments in the birthright citizenship case," proving this wasn't some spontaneous outburst but a calculated political stunt.
The Hypocrisy is Staggering
Here's a guy who immigrated to America and built his fortune thanks to our free market system and constitutional protections, yet he's out there attacking the very president trying to restore law and order to our immigration system. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!
While Trump was inside the Supreme Court defending the Constitution and working to end the abuse of birthright citizenship that has incentivized illegal immigration for decades, Andrés was outside playing to the cameras and pushing the same tired liberal talking points we've heard for years.
This is exactly what's wrong with Hollywood and celebrity culture – these elites think their fame gives them the right to lecture hardworking Americans about immigration policy while they live in their gated communities, completely insulated from the real-world consequences of open borders.
Patriots across America see right through this charade. We elected Trump to fix our broken immigration system, secure our borders, and restore respect for the rule of law. No amount of celebrity tantrums is going to stop us from making America great again.
